Super Bowl 50 Trailer Breakdowns

I missed the Super Bowl yesterday. But I luckily had absolutely no need to worry, because the internet exists. I woke up a bit earlier to watch all the new trailers on YouTube. And WOW! Man, I’m excited. I am going to break down some of the sci-fi trailers we got to see. So here we go!First of all, we got yet another Deadpool trailer. I don’t really care about this movie as much (since I’m under-aged and I won’t be able to watch it anyway) and Deadpool was never really one of my favourite characters in the comics. But this was a nice family-friendly trailer were the hero in red gives a tribute the the athletes competing in the Super Bowl.

Next, we finally have another Independence Day Resurgence trailer. It looks amazing! It starts off at a stadium (courtesy of the Super Bowl) and then the Star Spangled Banner starts playing. Next we see 4 soldiers saluting to the American Flag, but unfortunately Will Smith was not one of them.

Then it cuts to what looks like a nice military plane show, but is actually the US planes being sent to fight againt another alien invasion. Next we get cuts to lots of explosions and destruction. The trailer looks really awesome! I can’t wait until the film’s out. The trailer also see’s the return of one or two cast members from the original movie.

We also got another trailer for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It’s pretty cool, but there isn’t an awful lot to say about it. We get some shots of Casey Jones and the Kang, but apart from that, it’s just a really awesome movie trailer.

We also got a pretty nifty new X-men: Apocalypse trailer. Basically, there was a lot of destruction and a few mutants trying to clean up the mess. This trailer had a lack of Xavier, so maybe he died (again). I guess that I’m just going to have to wait and see.

There was also a pretty funny Coca-Cola advertisement with Ant-man and the Hulk.

The trailer that got me most excited was the brand new Civil War trailer. But that one deserves it’s own post. So yeah, come back tomorrow to see my thoughts on the new Captain America: Civil War trailer. So long! 😉
