We’ve got some sweet new info about April’s Captain America: Civil War. And no, I’m pretty sure that this isn’t a leak. I try to avoid leaks, because I don’t want to know anything that I’m not supposed to know about the movie. As I sad, I’m pretty sure that we are allowed to know this, but even if we aren’t, this post won’t contain any major spoilers.
So let’s get right into it. First of all, Martin Freeman’s (Bilbo Baggins, Dr. Watson) character has been confirmed. It has already been known that he would be playing someone that works for the government, but now we know the exact character that he will play.
He works in conjunction with the superheroes, and certain agencies that help to tame the superheroes’ power, I suppose. So you’re not quite sure which side he’s on. It looks a little bit like he’s playing one game when actually he’s playing another. It’s the kind of character I like because it’s ambiguous and because you don’t know whether he’s good or bad. I like that area that isn’t black or white, I like the grays, because I think there’s just more fun to be had in not playing one obvious line.
That is the quote coming directly from Martin’s mouth. The name of the character that he will play is Everett Ross. And to everybody’s disappointment, he is not related to Thunderbolt Ross AKA The Red Hulk.
Another awesome thing that we finally got is a picture of Crossbones, which is one of the new villain to be starring in the Civil War and he is played by Mark Grillo. And wow! The costume portrays the character from the comics so well! And we also have one picture of what’s under the mask, and we can see a whole bunch of blood around the area of his left eye. This is probably from a fight he got into with Cap.
As always, thank you very much for taking your time to read my post. I hope that you are all just as excited about the new Civil War more as I am. Have a Tremendous Tuesday. So long!
