It’s been 2 weeks sine the last chapter of my Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D/Avengers fanfiction. You can check out the whole story so far by clicking here. Enjoy! 😀
“We need backup, Ma’am,” whispered Clint into his earpiece. “Otherwise, it’s going to be a long day.” Maria Hill was on the other side.
“You’re not taking this mission seriously enough, agent!” she snapped. “Now, tell me. Is anyone down?”
“No ones down apart from a few Asgardian guards nobody cares about, Ma’am,” replied the archer, without losing his cold blood.
“What!?!” Maria was shocked. “You took out Asgardian guards? You do realise that will be understood as an act of war, right?”
“Don’t worry, Ma’am. Ol’ Lance Hunter used his icer to deal with them.”
“Hunter isn’t even on the mission!”
“Umm… with all of my respect, Ma’am, yes he is,” then there was silence. Agent Hill cursed quietly.
“Tell Agent Hunter to stand down. And that’s an order!!!”
“I said that’s and order!!!”
“Ma’am, if I tell him to stand down, we’re most likely all going to die. He is the only one armed with an icer and a machine gun. And he also has a few grenades around a belt.”
“Fine!” said Agent Hill eventually. “But don’t let him use those grenades of his!”
“Yes, Ma’am!” Hawkeye was really happy with the outcome of that discussion. He dodged a few inaccurately aimed shots from Lance and he ran over to see how he was doing.” He wasn’t greeted very nicely.
“Get away, archer! I need to concentrate! Why don’t you actually help out with the mission for once?” So Hawkeye took out his bow and started shooting all different types of arrows at the intruder. That left just Agent Morse and Agent Romanoff. Lance gave them a handgun each and this started to look like more of a fair battle. But then Maria Hill called again through Natasha’s earpiece.
“So, Agent Romanoff? You’re telling me that all of that sound is just to take care of a few Asgardian guards?”
“Of course not, Ma’am. They guards aren’t a quarter of out worries, Ma’am”
“Then what’s three-quarters of your worries?”
“Wait, so you’re telling that you were dealing with Loki and you didn’t even tell me?” Black Widow rolled her eyes.
“I want you to abort the mission immediately!”
“But, Ma’am. We might have a chance of taking him down here.”
“Go to the quinjet now!” Natasha considered her options.
“And what if we don’t?”
“Then that means you have violated orders.”
“In that case, we’re not co-operating with S.H.I.E.L.D anymore.”
“Then please come back to Earth to give us the equipment that belongs to us back.”
“You know we’re not gonna do that.”
“Let’s see. So you’re quitting a government agency and you’re still using your weapons without a license. Doesn’t that sort of make you terrorists?”
“Yeah, I guess it does. Anyway, don’t worry about us. We’ll take down Loki alright. He doesn’t even have his scepter on him. Myself and Clint already handled Loki once anyway.”
“But that time you got some help from the Hulk. Anyway, I guess his sceptre is still locked away in a S.H.I.E.L.D facility.” Suddenly Loki teleported up to Black Widow.
“Did you say A S.H.I.E.L.D Facility, sweetheart?”
“Damn it!” Bobbi managed to hit Loki in the head with her baton stick, but it didn’t do much.
“Guess I should be better getting on my way to A S.H.I.E.L.D Facility, shouldn’t I?” said the trickster God. He then unarmed the agents and chucked them into the dungeon. They were screwed.
