Yesterday I did a post explaining why you should join #TeamCap. You can check that post out by clicking here. Today, however, I will explain why you should join #TeamIronMan!
So, just in case you’ve been living in a cave for the past 3 years, here is a quick summary of what the conflict will be all about:
In a nutshell, after the events of Avengers Assemble, The Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron the government decided that to stop any more collateral damage, superheroes should be registered. This new act is known as the Superhuman Registration Act or The Sokovian Accords. The act also states that superheroes cannot have a secret identity. Iron Man agrees with the government, but Captain America doesn’t. So they fight.
But why should we join #TeamIronMan, I hear you ask. Well, the first reason is that there will be much fewer superhumans using their powers for evil A.K.A villains. It would be hard to use your powers for evil because the government will have the right to make sure you register your powers.
Secondly, the world will be a better place. The government will be able to decide which battles are even worth fighting. It shouldn’t be up to the Avengers whether they fight one villain or the other if they can only fight one. Highly trained strategists working for the government should be making that type of decisions.
Third of all, wouldn’t people feel safer if they knew who the heroes actually were. I mean, an anonymous super-strong guy in a blue suit, wearing a mask approaching you might not really be that safe. Also, if superhumans do not have a secret identity, it will be easier to track them down when it comes to something. Whether it’s trying to find them to go on a mission, or trying to fight them because they are doing something they shouldn’t be.
And last but not least, the Vision is on #TeamIronMan. He has the mind gem in his forehead and he is supposed to be a perfect being. So if he’s on #TeamIronMan, he is probably right.
I hope that you enjoyed this short, little post. To be honest, I’m not really sure what side I’m on in this conflict yet. Of course, I cannot wait to see the movie. It is coming to cinemas on the 29th of April, so mark your calendars! But for now have a Terrific Thursday and So Long!
