First of all, I know that today I should publish the next chapter of Romanoff, Barton & S.H.I.E.L.D. However, due to technical issues, I can’t! So next week I will publish two chapters in one day. If you do some very simple math, you are getting an extra post today for free. You are welcome! 😉
Who the bloody hell is Doop? I hear you ask. Doop is just about the best superhero ever created. In case you aren’t familiar with the character, Doop is a very cute, green, levitating, leg-less, bone-less mutant. He speaks his own language that barely anyone understands. Doop is very close friends with Wolverine and when Logan became the principle of The Jean Grey School For Higher Learning, he even hired Doop. If you want to learn more about the character, click here.
I think that this awesome character should definitely be part of 20th Century Fox’s MARVEL universe. You know, the one with the X-men, Fantastic Four and Deadpool. Doop should first appear in an X-men film and then he should get his stand-alone film. I mean, if Rocket Raccoon can be part of the MCU, then Doop can definitely be part of the Fox universe. Just to clarify, the reason that if he does get a movie, it will probably be a Fox movie, is because 20th Century Fox currently owns the rights to all of the mutants, including Doop.
So, what should his role in the X-men film be? I think that Wolverine should dramatically say I know somebody who can help us, and then he calls Doop. In his own movie, I think that he should fight Pyro and there should be a guest appearance by Deadpool and Wolverine.
Casting? Sorted! Doop would be voiced by anyone and his voice would just be highly amplified. Pyro would be played by Domhnall Gleeson. Deadpool would obviously be played by Ryan Renolds and Wolverine by Hugh Jackman.
So, what do you think? Would a Doop movie be successful and should he be part of 20th Century Fox’s universe? Also, don’t forget to leave questions as comments below or e-mail them to email@example.com. I will be doing a Q+A soon and every question will be answered. But for now have a Fabulous Friday and So Long!
