I’m back! + Sci-fi News!

The Summer was awesome! I won’t lie by saying it was sunny for every single day, but it was still awesome. Some much stuff happened over the holidays too! For one thing, San Diego Comic Con 2016 and Star Wars Celebration 2016 took place. Loads of epic trailers were dropped and a few announcments.

I will be doing a seperate post about all of these trailers: Doctor Strange, LEGO Batman, Justice League, Wonder Woman and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. So make sure you watch them very carefully! Today, however, I will be talking about the various announcments regarding some of my favourite sci-fi films. And just so you know, I won’t be doing a review of Suicide SquadThis is because here in Ireland, the movie was rated as 15s. I’m 12, so I wouldn’t be able to get into the cinema… unless I smuggled myself in someone’s bag. Nah, just kidding! I don’t really mind. People say the film isn’t even that good anyway. The 26% on Rotten Tomatoes also say quite a bit.

Anyway, let’s get onto the announcments! First of all, the one I’m most excited about, Ghost Rider will be the season 4 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I’m so frickin’ excited. In this post, I critiqued the theory that he would be in the show, describing it as highly unlikely. But, it’s actually happening! Who would have thought. I cannot wait to see what this will mean for the show, especially since this will most likely be the final season. (Very sad!)

Talking about things that are very sad (great segway, right?) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story has officially been announced at Star Wars Celebration, to be the first Star Wars film without an opening crawl. I’m not sure if this was the world’s smartest decision, but I guess it is important to make sure the anthology films will be seperate from the main saga.

Back to Comic Con news, we now no longer need to theorize about who will play Captain Marvel, because it has officially been announced to be Brie Larson. I would have probably gone for someone like Charlize Theron or Keria Knightley, but I guess Brie could also fit the role nicely.

There is another piece of news which is basically that Steve Rogers will no longer be Captain America in the MCU. But I’ll do a whole seperate post about that.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Don’t forget to like me on Facebook and subscribe to me on YouTube. But that’s it from me for now. So long!
