Can you guys even believe it that it has been over 2 years now since the first GOTG film came out!?! MARVEL are following their trend of releasing a teaser for their next film at each MARVEL movie premiere and at the Doctor Strange premiere, they gave us a short little one-and-a-half-minute teaser for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. And it looks frickin’ awesome!!!
If you haven’t watched this teaser yet, make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this page. It is embedded as a YouTube video.
As I said, this is just a short teaser. 1 minute and 26 seconds, to be exact. But that most certainly does not stop it from being absolutely epic. A lot of people are complaining that they’re using the same soundtrack as the first movie (Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede), but I’m 100% sure that there’s gonna be a different soundtrack. They just played it over the first teaser to get people hyped. I think that they’ll play Hooked on a Feeling in the opening scene and introduce the new main soundtrack later in the film.
Anyway, what did I like about this teaser and what didn’t I like? I think it’s awesome that they showed off every original member of the team. Of course, they still didn’t show us Mantis and Ego the Living Planet, but I’m presuming that will come in the first or second proper trailer. They did, however, show us Groot (who is still a baby), Rocket Raccoon, Gamora, Nebula, Yondu, Drax and, of course, Star-Lord! And, to be honest, I can’t really think of anything I didn’t like about!
It looks like this movie is still gonna have that fun vibe the first movie had. I just hope that in this movie someone will finally tell someone else to go krutack themselves (pretty much the GOTG equivilant of Go f**k yourself in the comics).
There are two types of beings in the galaxy. Those that dance and those that do not.
