Spiderman: Homecoming Trailer!!!

Man, MARVEL really didn’t want to give Star Wars their spotlight for a single second! We’re gonna have the Rogue One premiere they say. And then, MARVEL shoves out the first Spiderman: Homecoming trailer on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Wow! And to think they both belong to Disney!

Okay, man. This trailer blew up the internet for a sec. A day earlier we got this cool little first-person clip of when Happy Hogan tells Peter that Tony has that new suit for him, and then we saw him jumping off a monument with his web wings. By the way, if you are confused about those web wings, you can watch this really cool video by Scott Niswander, who makes a whole bunch of comic-book related vids. Obviously not sponsored on anything, it’s just a nice video that explains those weird wings.

Anyway, what do I think of the trailer??? Well, it confirms the feeling I had that Tom Holland is definitely the best actor to play Spiderman so far! This trailer gets me super dooper hyped for this film! I honestly cannot wait! Multiple versions of this trailer came out, all with slightly different clips. The international trailer has this scene where Spiderman is holding up two halves of a ship. It looks really awesome, but I think it sort of exaggerates Spiderman’s strength. Sure, he’s really strong, but definitely not that strong!

I also don’t really like the look of Vulture. It’s really robotic and I don’t think it really suits the tone of the movie. However, I think Michael Keaton is killing it as the antagonist (in a good way), from what we’ve seen so far! Oh, and I love that scene at the very beginning where Spiderman is stopping that robbery. I hope they explain why the robbers are wearing Avengers masks, but the scene is just really comedic overall. I also love that scene with Tony.

Don’t do anything I would do. Oh, and definitely don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. There’s a little grey area in there and that’s where you operate.

I just think this is going to be a very fun movie, which hopefully also fits in nicely with the greater jigsaw puzzle which is the MARVEL Cinematic Universe. Share this post on your social media if you feel like you want other people to know about it.
